Believing God More

I was reading today about Henrietta Mears. Toward the end of her life, said, If ever I had my life to live over again, I would believe God more.

Miss Mears was the Director of Christian Education at the Hollywood Presbyterian Church.  She grew Sunday school attendance at that church from a few hundred students to well over 4,000. She founded the Gospel Light Press. She also introduced the concept of teacher training.  She developed scores of Sunday School materials to help both teachers and students.

Those who knew her, described Miss Mears as a bundle of Spirit-filled energy...totally committed to bringing people to Jesus.  There’s more but you get the picture. She attempted so much for God.  And she accomplished so much for Him.

Yet the plaque dedicated to her memory began with this quotation from her...If ever I had my life to live over again, I would believe God more.
