IMPACT– CONFERENCE FOR B4Ters

I am overbooked and need a break this week, so here’s more input on the B4T conference.

"I just wanted to send you a quick note regarding the [B4T Conference].  I normally don't like to quickly give reflections immediately after experiences like that (it’s my first for this Network).....I like it to 'simmer' for a while then assess it.  It’s been two weeks now & I have caught myself looking more & more through the lens of B4T more often than I thought I would.  I understand it’s a 'tool' & anytime God gives me an opportunity to learn more about & use a new 'tool', it gives me a more God-like perspective......cause He uses it ALL for His glory, just not one way or one 'tool'. 

So, this morning as I was reading in 1 Thess 4, the middle of vs 10 says, "But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more (to love one another & have brotherly love), and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one."  These are aspects of B4T.  Do things well (even just loving each other) and people will notice it.  Col 3:23-25 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.”  This is a commonly known B4T scripture, but now, for me, it has greater depth....it carries more weight.   

You guys know all this stuff....you've been doing it for decades, but for those of us who haven't, this is exciting stuff!"
