Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening it deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during that day.


What would you do?  Draw out every cent, every day of course!!!!


Actually, we each have such a bank account. Its name is TIME.
Every morning it credits us with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off as lost, whatever we have failed to invest. It carries over no balance.  It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If we fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is ours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow". You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to maximize your life and for the glory of Jesus. Manage those seconds well to bless your spouse, your children, your co-workers, your friends for Jesus’ sake. 


Start today, it’s a New Year. That’s a brand new 31,536,000 seconds.
The clock is running.  Make the most of 2018. Make the most of today’s deposit.

Remember that time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present!!


Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.          Ephesians 5:15-16
